Kathleen Murphy is a Managing Director with the ImPART GROUP of Alvarez & Marsal Healthcare Industry Group in New York. She brings more than 25 years of experience in leading organizational change initiatives, both as a consultant and executive.

She specializes in conceiving strategies and implementing operational performance improvement plans, with an emphasis on optimizing the patient experience - access, flow, throughput, quality and satisfaction.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Murphy was a principal with ImPART GROUP, where she led efforts to restructure multi-disciplinary healthcare institutes, created and implemented customer-focused approaches to sustainable revenue and volume growth and developed innovative operational improvement initiatives for clients including academic medical centers, community hospitals and faculty practice plans and private physician practices.

Previously, she worked as an executive in high-growth organizations where she led and directed post-merger and post-acquisition integration strategies. She also has experience in early start-up organizations building infrastructure and operating efficiencies. She has deep expertise in operational effectiveness, organization development and human resource management.

Ms. Murphy was President/Chief Operating Officer at DDS Partners, LLC, a start-up venture in the dental practice management industry. Ms. Murphy was Chief Operating Officer of Physician Services/Management Services Organization, a division of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, a major New York-based integrated delivery system. Earlier in her career, she was Director of Administration/Human Resource Management for a publishing company.

Ms. Murphy earned a bachelor's degree in human resource management from SUNY at Old Westbury.
