Kartik Jhanji

Mr. Jhanji has worked across the financial services industry, including banks, insurance firms and wealth/asset management players. Recently, he has focused on supporting banking clients making complex decisions in an ever-changing market and economic environment.
Mr. Jhanji’s notable corporate strategy experience includes leading projects in secured lending (including mortgages) from growth strategy, back-book retention, new product development, distribution strategy and pricing to commercial due diligence and value creation. He has also led multiple engagements projects for auto finance providers, covering growth strategy, proposition design, pricing, and regulatory response.
Mr. Jhanji has also worked on equity release market entry strategy (including value chain participation, operating model design, horizon planning) and proposition development and application support for BCR applicants. He reviewed a U.K. bank’s branch closure process and decision-making structure/ governance and handled market entry strategy for a specialty insurer, including global opportunity market screening and filtering of ~40 countries.
Additionally, Mr. Jhanji’s transaction experience includes commercial due diligence (CDD). Some of his experience includes a sell-side vendor due diligence for a U.K. investment platform; buy-side commercial due diligence and value creation plan for a mortgage network provider; buy-side commercial due diligence for a merchant cash advance player; buy-side commercial due diligence for loan servicer; sell-side commercial due diligence for a risk advisory firm; and post-merger integration for a U.K. specialist bank.
Mr. Jhanji earned a bachelor’s degree (honours) in economics from Delhi University and a Master’s degree in management and strategy from the London School of Economics.
