Mr. Florian has worked with clients across a range of industries, including food service, healthcare, infrastructure, manufacturing, professional services and software.

Additionally, Mr. Florian focuses on providing private equity sponsors and corporate strategic buyers with advice on transactional due diligence and structuring matters, with an emphasis on post-acquisition and pre-divestiture state income/franchise and non-income (e.g., gross receipts, sales and use, property, payroll and unclaimed property) tax diligence and remediation.

Furthermore, Mr. Florian has advised clients on their ability to deduct transaction related expenses in connection with their acquisitions or dispositions.

Mr. Florian earned a BBA (cum laude) from DePaul University and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is a member of the Illinois and Wisconsin State Bars.
