John Walsh

Mr. Walsh’s primary areas of expertise include performing strategic assessments of companies, business segments, and assets; cash-flow forecasting and treasury management; liquidity management and working capital improvement; implementing operational and performance improvement initiatives, including cost reductions; and Chapter 11 and contingency planning. He has also served in interim management roles for clients, focusing on financial reporting and cash-flow management.
Mr. Walsh has advised companies across various industries, including Vertex Energy, Sunlight Financial, Talen Energy, Superior Energy Services, Weatherford International, Parker Drilling, NorthEast Gas Generation, New MACH Gen, Azure Midstream, Castex Energy, and Key Energy Services.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Walsh spent five years working with Starr Companies, a multinational insurance organization, where he focused on accounting, finance, and tax matters.
Mr. Walsh earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Colorado and an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor and a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
