John A. Taylor

With more than 35 years of financial and valuation experience, Mr. Taylor has provided litigation support consulting and expert testimony in matters related to fair value, minority-interest buyouts, bankruptcy proceedings, damages analysis, post-transaction disputes, and royalty and intellectual property disputes.
Mr. Taylor has worked with clients across various industries, including consumer products, energy, entertainment, financial services, gaming, healthcare, non-profits, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, private equity, professional services, real estate, retail, shipping and transportation, technology, telecommunications. He also serves as a joint/court-appointed independent financial expert/appraiser.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Taylor spent more than 15 years with Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Advisory Services in Los Angeles, serving most recently as Managing Director. He was the global practice leader for the Dispute Resolution Consulting & Financial Expert Opinions practice and a member of the firm’s Technical Standards Committee.
Mr. Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in German from University of Missouri – St. Louis. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers and has been Chair and Past Chair of the American Society of Appraisers’ Appraisal Review & Management Committee. Mr. Taylor is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) with the Institute of Management Consultants, was elected as a Practising Member to the Academy of Experts (MAE) and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) as a Chartered Business & Intangible Assets Valuation Surveyor.
