Mr. Maloney brings industry and consulting experience in strategy, business transformation, operations improvement and cost restructuring. He has worked across a range of industries, including construction, industrials, transportation, professional services, business services, financial institutions, healthcare, consumer goods, packaging, beverages, government and aerospace across Europe, the U.S., Africa and Asia.
Additionally, Mr. Maloney serves with Chief Executive Officers and Chief Financial Officers to deliver step change in performance. His projects have included reduction of labour intensity, refinancing or strategy refocus. He also helps businesses to cope with stressed situations, major restructuring or the integration or carve-out of subsidiaries.
Mr. Maloney’s notable blue chip clients have included PostNL, Electrolux and Safran. He has also worked within the portfolios of many private equity institutions, including Montagu Private Equity, Onex, KKR and CVC.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Maloney served as Partner at FTI, where he co-led the European Business Transformation Practice. Previously, he served with AlixPartners, where he co-led the Global Organisation Design, SG&A cost reduction and Efficiency Practices in Europe. Before that, Mr. Maloney served as a consultant with AT Kearney and KPMG. Prior to his consulting career, he held financial and line management roles within Unisys and Midland Bank.
Mr. Maloney earned a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Edinburgh and an MBA from Cass Business School. He is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish, French and German.
