John Katsigeorgis
Mr. Katsigeorgis brings over 10 years of experience advising stressed and distressed companies and their creditors. He specializes in the development and implementation of strategic, financial, and operating plans for over-leveraged and undercapitalized companies.
Mr. Katsigeorgis has assisted companies in developing business plans, implementing strategic and operational restructuring initiatives, operating with liquidity constraints, raising capital, monetizing assets, and negotiating capital-structure restructuring strategies. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including retail, energy, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, shipping, and financial services. His notable clients include Rite Aid, iRobot, Aeroméxico, and JCPenney.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Katsigeorgis was a restructuring advisor with AlixPartners and Zolfo Cooper. He began his career in investment banking with Lincoln International.
Mr. Katsigeorgis earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
