John Hageman

With more than 22 years of C-suite experience, Mr. Hageman brings legal and business expertise with a variety of public and private companies during periods of tremendous growth and financial and operational challenges. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including energy-upstream and field services, metal fabrication and distribution and healthcare/managed care.
Mr. Hageman’s notable recent assignments include a turnaround and eventual liquidation and wind-down of Trinity River Energy (KKR & Riverstone); liquidation and wind-down of Eco-Stim Energy Solutions, Inc. (Fir Tree Partners); and a process improvement project with Chesapeake Energy in Oklahoma City.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hageman served with the Carnrite Group in Houston, where he led the Turnaround & Workout Services practice and provided high-level business and process improvement consulting services to the firm’s energy and non-energy clients. He has led a variety of engagements with private and public companies, covering strategic, operational and functional improvement efforts.
Previously, Mr. Hageman served as Chief Legal Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for two publicly traded companies: Metal USA, Inc. in Houston, Texas, and Physician Corporation of America in Miami, Florida.
Mr. Hageman earned a B.S. in accounting and business administration from the University of Kansas and a J.D. from Washburn University-School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association and a patron partner with the Cynthia Woods Pavilion in The Woodlands Texas.
