John Fiorentino

With more than 25 years of consulting and industrial experience, Mr. Fiorentino brings deep expertise helping companies drive tangible EBIT improvement from their COGS, logistics and indirect-external spend as well as helping clients reduce working capital. He has worked with clients across a wide spectrum of industries, including diversified manufacturing, automotive, consumer goods and process and construction industries.
Mr. Fiorentino is also experienced in leading multi-functional and multi-lever cost transformations that touch end-to-end supply chain and SG&A costs as well as engagements that cover pre-close operational and M&A synergy diligence, post-close value capture, cross-portfolio procurement, procurement capability building and product redesign/DTV.
Mr. Fiorentino’s notable assignments include running a global synergy capture program for a three-way merger generating $50+ million in synergies; leading the operational diligence for the largest distributor deal in recent history; running multiple packaging, printing and distribution procurement transformations; and partnering with PE funds to establish cross-portfolio programs and advance how they support their portfolio companies.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Fiorentino spent 11 years with A.T. Kearney in New York as a Partner and leader in Kearney’s Private Equity practice. He focused on operational value creation and running programs for large and mid-cap PE funds and their holdings. Previously, he held business development and project lead roles at Opera Solutions and Mitchell Madison Group and spent six years in the specialty chemical industry.
Mr. Fiorentino earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from MIT, a master's degree in chemical engineering from Yale University and an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School.
