John Coyle

Mr. Coyle is recognized for his ability to build extraordinary, multidisciplinary teams, which set bold strategies, redefine customer experiences, rethink core processes, imbue new ways of working and create profitable growth through digital and AI business platforms. He is a leader who consistently sets high expectations, fosters “one-team” culture and invests in people and organizations to help his teams succeed. Mr. Coyle enjoys leading teams from strategy through outcomes and is passionate about rolling up his sleeves with his team and as a client advisor.
Mr. Coyle’s client partnerships have included leading digital strategy and implementation for a world-class cancer care and research hospital, where he served as acting Chief Digital Officer throughout the implementation of a digitally driven growth strategy, requiring new digital products, new platforms and new ways of working; leading the merger integration of two U.S. health services companies to successfully create the largest and most valued company in its sector (also served as acting CIO to help drive synergies); and developing a multi-billion-dollar cost take-out strategy for one of the largest faith-based health systems.
Additionally, Mr. Coyle led the cost transformation program for one of the largest public hospital systems to address a $2 billion annual revenue shortfall. He also advised two northeastern states on a variety of topics, including sustaining health system operations during the pandemic.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Coyle led Digital Strategy & Transformation in Healthcare Payer-Providers for Boston Consulting Group as a Managing Director and Partner. Previously, he led the Strategic IT and Operations practice for Oliver Wyman Healthcare. He spent the first 17 years of his career at Accenture in a variety of roles, culminating in the North American practice leader for IT Strategy and Transformation in Healthcare & Public Sector.
Mr. Coyle earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (with distinction) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He also completed an advanced business management program at the Kellogg School of Management.
