Mr. Melfi specializes in leading enterprise technology transformations, leveraging people, process, and technology to drive strategy and execution. He has a strong track record of success in all aspects of technology operations, infrastructure, strategic planning, design, and implementation.
Mr. Melfi has partnered with businesses across financial services, retail, and technology sectors to develop and deliver transformational results. His areas of expertise include global technology and business operations, information technology infrastructure, enterprise technology transformation, SaaS/IaaS, ITIL, and outsourcing.
Mr. Melfi has successfully led IT cost takeout initiatives for global organizations in financial services, media, technology, and retail companies. He has delivered run rate savings ranging from $20 million to $340 million per annum.
Mr. Melfi has performed due diligence on Tier 4 data centers for recovery point objective (RPO), recovery time objective (RTO), disaster recovery, carrier and power diversity, ESG roadmap, and strategy. He has performed technology infrastructure due diligence for major acquisitions across retail and technology business sectors.
Mr. Melfi has also led and managed large-scale waterfall-to-agile transformations for highly complex global technology infrastructure organizations.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Melfi served as Executive Vice President of Global Infrastructure & Operations at PVH Corp., where he led a global technology organization through transformational change, designing, planning, and implementing technology solutions which were aligned with the business needs for both growth and efficiency. Previously, he also served in several executive technology roles with Deutsche Bank, AIG, PGI, and Instinet, where he managed global operations, data center operations, and global infrastructure teams through major transformations across operations, data center/cloud, service desk, and network infrastructure.
