Joe Melfi is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Corporate Performance Improvement practice in New York. He brings more than 30 years of experience as a technology infrastructure and operations executive. Mr. Melfi specializes in leading enterprise technology transformations, leveraging people, process and technology to drive strategy and execution.

Mr. Melfi has partnered with businesses across financial services, retail and technology sectors to develop and deliver transformational results. He has driven programs in leading large-scale change in global enterprises, improving quality of service while reducing costs and transforming organizations to be accountable and customer focused. His areas of expertise include global technology and business operations, information technology infrastructure, cloud transformation, SaaS/IaaS, ITIL and outsourcing.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Melfi served as Executive Vice President of Global Infrastructure & Operations at PVH Corp, where he led a global technology organization through transformational change, designing, planning and implementing technology solutions which were aligned with the business needs for both growth and efficiency.

Additionally, Mr. Melfi served in several senior roles with Deutsche Bank, AIG, PGI and Instinet, where he managed global operations and global infrastructure teams through major transformations across operations, data center/cloud, service desk and network infrastructure.

Mr. Melfi earned a certificate in individualized computer technology from Control Data Institute in New York, N.Y.
