Joe Deegan

With more than 30 years of corporate transaction and advisory experience, Mr. Deegan helps controlling shareholders, boards, and senior executives achieve accretive value in acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, and divestitures. He has led numerous global transactions to help his clients achieve enterprise and stakeholder value throughout the M&A lifecycle, with a focus on enterprise and operational transformation as well as employee engagement, productivity, and performance. His extensive international experience includes projects in over 60 countries, with significant assignments in China, France, and the Netherlands.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Deegan was a Partner/Principal with EY and served in client leadership roles within their M&A and People Advisory Services (PAS) practices. Most recently, he served as the Deputy Leader of EY’s Americas PAS practice. In this role, he was instrumental in helping clients harness the power of their people agenda, aligning talent strategies with business objectives. During his tenure, he supported clients across various industries, including consumer goods, healthcare, and manufacturing. He also contributed to large-scale program management, strategic sourcing, and operational cost-reduction efforts.
Mr. Deegan earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Albion College, Michigan, and a law degree from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana.
