With more than 20 years of experience in the Brazilian and international financial markets, Mr. Viola specializes in M&A, project finance, financial restructuring and IPO engagements. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including oil and gas, infrastructure, power and utilities, telecommunications, food retail and technology. 

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Viola was a Senior Partner at Lakeshore Partners. Before that, he worked in the Investment Bank divisions of HSBC and Banco Santander in Brazil, as well as the Infrastructure Fund division of Santander in Spain. Previously, he was a summer intern at Klesch & Company (London based hedge fund); an associate at Brasilpar (a Brazilian M&A Boutique); a financial analyst at Gerdau; and a corporate banker at American Express Bank. 

Mr. Viola earned a BBA from Universidade FUMEC, a master’s degree in finance from Fundação Dom Cabral and an MBA from London Business School. A native Brazilian, he is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
