Mr. Santos specializes in structured transactions and financial restructuring. His main areas of expertise include strategic negotiations, structuring of financial operations, mergers and acquisitions and debt renegotiation. 

With more than seven years of experience in distressed assets negotiation, special situations portfolio structuring and management and corporate restructuring, Mr. Santos has structured asset transactions and participated in debt restructurings totaling $3+ billion. He has worked across a range of sectors in Brazil, including financial institutions, oil and gas and logistics.

Mr. Santos returned to A&M after two years as a Portfolio Manager for the Special Situations desk at BTG Pactual in Brazil. 

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Santos worked at Siemens in Brazil and Finland for two years in pulp and paper and business development. 

Mr. Santos earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo – Poli-USP. He is fluent in Portuguese and English.
