Jinsu Wang is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Los Angeles. She specializes in driving enterprise business and technology transformations and enabling efficient business and technology operations. Her areas of expertise include strategy, operations and solutions for media supply chain, rights and royalty, finance transformation, content distribution and monetization, data analytics and revenue science.

With more than 20 years of experience across media and entertainment, technology and telecom industries, Ms. Wang has proven success defining technology vision, strategy and roadmap and leading through the transformation execution. She brings experience transforming siloed systems into an end-to-end ecosystem, defining approaches to allow new technologies to work with legacy solutions, maximizing reusability, enabling information sharing, promoting cross-functional collaboration and achieving economy of scale.

Ms. Wang’s notable assignments include delivering a variety of transformations for Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, as SVP, Business Operations for MGM Studios Media Technology Group, she managed multiple functions, including enterprise product management, software development engineering, salesforce COE, business intelligence, PMO, IT procurement and IT finance.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Wang spent 12 years with PwC, EY and Capgemini. Her notable engagements include leading a global business strategy and operational efficiency initiative for the creative group of a major media company and conducting detailed analysis on P&L, organization, operations, workload and technology for 20+ studios, identifying $30 million annual potential savings and net annual P&L improvement of $40 million with two-year payback; redefining the content acquisition and programming process for a media company, where operationalized changes achieved $3+ million savings in one quarter; defining post-merger integration strategy for a major music company; leading data analytics initiatives at multiple studios to enable data driven decisions, revenue increase and cost reduction; and implementing technology solutions, including media supply chain, theatrical distribution, financial systems and content distribution.

Ms. Wang earned a master’s degree in computer science from University of California, Irvine and a bachelor’s degree in information engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
