Jay Vijayakrishnan

Mr. Vijayakrishnan brings more than 18 years of professional and consulting experience, working across multiple cybersecurity disciplines and various elements of the IT value chain for Fortune 500 financial institutions, insurers, manufacturers, and pharmaceutical firms.
Recently at A&M, Mr. Vijayakrishnan has handled buy-, sell-side, and carve-out cybersecurity due diligences for targets of varying sizes across industries, including manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, financial services, retail, education, and technology. His recent buy-side cybersecurity due diligences include reviews of an automobile auction service provider, a waste management company, an electrical utility testing provider, and a community management application software provider.
Previously, Mr. Vijayakrishnan led consulting teams conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and security capability maturity evaluations for global banking and insurance companies based on widely employed industry standards (NIST CSF, FFIEC CAT). He has led cybersecurity risk assessment for the retail, investments, and consumer finance businesses of a global bank (total AUM of $140 billion) and post-merger security risk analysis between a retail bank and an investment bank (combined annual revenue of over $8 billion) in alignment with industry frameworks.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Vijayakrishnan served as a Managing Principal with Capco, a management consulting firm providing cyber risk advisory and IT consulting services for Fortune 500 financial institutions. He was instrumental in building the cybersecurity practice there and developed several advisory offerings for the firm. Previously, Mr. Vijayakrishnan worked with Kurt Salmon Associates, UMT Consulting (acquired by EY), and Cognizant Technologies.
Mr. Vijayakrishnan earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in India, one of Asia’s top business schools, and a certified information systems security professional (CISSP) certification.
