Mr. Gazulla advises investment funds, mainly in the real estate, energy and infrastructure, and private equity sectors. He also advises multinational groups on investments, acquisitions, divestments, and corporate reorganizations, both in Spain and abroad.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gazulla spent two years as a Tax Partner with the Spanish law firm Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and eleven years as Tax Partner with the international law firm Hogan Lovells, where he was in charge of coordinating and executing tax work with the firms’ legal transactional groups in Madrid. Before this, Mr. Gazulla was a Tax Partner at KPMG, where he was responsible for the M&A and Tax Restructuring group, and he also served as a Senior Tax Associate with the international law firm Freshfields. Mr. Gazulla started his career in the International Tax department of Arthur Andersen in Madrid, which merged with the Spanish law firm Garrigues.

Mr. Gazulla earned a bachelor’s degree in law and business administration (E-3 program) from the Catholic Institute of Business Administration (ICADE). He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM). Mr. Gazulla is a lecturer for the master’s degree in taxation at the University of Navarra and at Carlos III University of Madrid, and he is recognized in international legal directories such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, and Best Lawyers.
