With more than 18 years of EHS/ESG due diligence experience, Ms. Velasquez has led integrated due diligence teams and projects to identify potential EHS/ESG transaction risks and implement near and long-term strategies to address. She has worked with clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, chemical, transportation and energy.
Ms. Velasquez brings extensive experience conducting environmental impact and compliance assessments, developing mitigation frameworks and providing strategic EHS/ESG improvement initiatives. Most notably, she has created internal and external facing process optimization platforms and procedures through the assessment phase to drive efficiency and maximize revenues.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Velasquez served as Vice President at JPMorgan Chase in their Environmental Credit Risk Management group in Chicago, where she focused on identifying and managing environmental risks for portfolio companies within the commercial and investment banks. Before that, she was responsible for starting and leading the Lender Services practice at Bridge House Advisors and served as Director of Transaction Advisory Services at RPS Group.
Ms. Velasquez earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Notre Dame.
