James Cleffi

Mr. Cleffi brings more than 20 years of experience driving high-value transformations oriented toward business growth, operational improvement and distinctive customer capabilities across the globe while advising leading and emerging companies in the life sciences sector. He brings an entrepreneurial and deep customer perspective to solving client er and patient challenges.
Mr. Cleffi’s notable engagements include designing a first-in-market commercial model to drive global growth of a leading GI therapeutic; founding a patient services offering scaling to over $200 million in business unit growth; developing an operations plan and value case to improve OPEX for a global CDMO as a growth strategy; and deploying a leading customer channel strategy across EU, APAC, NA and LATAM for top five life sciences multinational corporation.
Previously, Mr. Cleffi led product strategy for a digital health startup leading to $90 million in revenue and IPO; founded an educational technology and services company transforming the student engagement process; and launched diverse therapeutic products across women's health, hospital and specialty areas addressing physicians’ and patients’ unmet needs.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Cleffi served in leadership roles at Forest Labs (now AGN), Meditech, Accolade (ACCD) and Accenture (ACN).
Mr. Cleffi earned a bachelor’s degree from Saint Francis University and an MBA degree from the Smeal College of Business, Penn State University. He is a Board Member of The Kalmar Nyckel Foundation, a non-profit educational organization.
