He provides vendor due diligence, acquisition due diligence and tax structuring advice to a wide range of clients, both U.K. inbound and outbound, with a focus on private equity clients and their portfolio businesses. Mr. Keane has worked with clients across a range of industries, including real estate, telecom, pharmaceutical, consumer products and the software/tech sector.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Keane worked at KPMG and was a member of the firm’s M&A / Private Equity tax team advising European and U.S. private equity houses as well as listed corporate entities both in the U.K. and overseas on their acquisitions and disposals.

During his time at KPMG, he spent two years on secondment to KPMG in Hong Kong providing tax advice on M&A transactions for China's corporate and state-owned enterprises on their overseas acquisitions.

Mr. Keane earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Liverpool and is a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
