With more than 18 years of tax experience, Mr. Kanashiro has worked in merger and acquisition processes, identified tax and labor contingencies and done SPA review and post-closing integration. He has also supported companies with tax planning implementation, analysis of federal, state and municipal tax calculation, and identifying tax opportunities.

Mr. Kanashiro’s notable assignments include working with HIG Capital, Vinci Partners, Patria and its affiliates, Accenture, and BTG. He has worked with clients in various industries, including telecommunications, infrastructure, private equity, pharmaceuticals, automotive, technology and chemical.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kanashiro spent nearly 13 years in the Tax M&A division of KPMG in São Paulo, serving most recently as Director.

Mr. Kanashiro earned a BBA (accounting concentration) from Universidade Paulista. He is a member the regional accounting council for São Paulo.
