Harj Baura
Mr. Baura specializes in supporting financial services clients through complex transformations. His primary areas of focus are strategy, customer experience, operating models, and regulatory challenges.
With nearly 30 years of professional services experience in Asia and the UK, Mr. Baura has led teams in delivering complex and large-scale transformation engagements across strategy execution, organizational redesign, digital transformation, customer experience, and performance management. He has worked with clients across banking and wealth management industries.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Baura spent four years with EY in Hong Kong, where he was the Asia–Pacific Lead Partner for one of the firm’s largest banking clients. Prior to EY, Mr. Baura spent 25 years at PwC in London and Hong Kong, holding roles including Asia–Pacific Digital Banking Lead, Hong Kong Financial Services Consulting Lead, and a number of client leadership roles for large global banks.
Mr. Baura earned a bachelor’s degree in law from University College London. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA). Mr. Baura also serves as a director on the board of The Women’s Foundation, a nongovernmental organization dedicated to championing gender equality and improving the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong.
