With over 16 years of experience in commercial due diligence (CDD) and M&A strategy in a range of industries, including consumer goods, retail, industrial services, Mr. Meinders brings expertise in market, customer, and competitor assessments through primary research, including large-scale international consumer and B2B surveys, store visits, and interview programs.
Most recently at A&M, Mr. Meinders supported the identification of value creation opportunities across commercial operations functions for a B2C device-as-a-service provider as part of the buy-side due diligence.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Meinders spent 10 years in the Deals Strategy team of PwC Amsterdam, serving most recently as Senior Director. He was involved in many commercial due diligence projects (buy- and sell-side), including the carve-out of Wella from Coty, the CVDD on Dutch bakeries and buy-side work on many consumer packaged goods (snacks, beverages, salads, bakery, biscuits).
Previously, Mr. Meinders ran his own retail consultancy company and worked for Rabobank International as a Senior Industry Analyst. He started his career at COBA in London, an M&A boutique specializing in CDD, before it was acquired by PwC. He transferred to the Amsterdam PwC office to help set up the CDD team in the Netherlands.
Mr. Meinders earned a dual bachelor’s degree in European business (Netherlands/Germany), and a master’s degree from HEC in Paris. He is the treasurer of a charitable organisation that organises an annual memorial service for survivors of the WWII sea transports in Southeast Asia. A Dutch national, Mr. Meinders speaks Dutch, English, German and French.
