Graham MacGregor

Mr. MacGregor’s primary areas of concentration include Australian energy and resources companies and opportunities in the global carbon marketplaces. He is an energy leader with over 25 years of experience working in the energy and resources sectors, including 15 years in senior and executive leadership roles with independents, IOCs and consulting firms.
Mr. MacGregor’s selected assignments include leading and implementing several large scale performance transformations for oil and gas and mining companies both in Australia and internationally. He has also led an integrated consultant/client operations team to improve performance for several gas processing and water treatment facilities and improve drilling rig performance, delivering ~AUD350 million of annualised cash savings, and acted as Chief Operating Officer for a West African client, operating 40kbd offshore production, including managing the integrated production, operations and maintenance organisation in a holistic performance transformation.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. MacGregor served as a Partner in PwC's Energy Transition Team, leading their work on carbon markets and carbon prices to help accelerate the decarbonisation of energy and resource assets and development projects. During his career, he has had leadership roles with several global players, including ExxonMobil, Shell and McKinsey.
Mr. MacGregor earned an MBA from INSEAD and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Loughborough University. He is a Sainsbury Management Fellow, a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
