Gordon Jones, a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement, specializes in strategy, design and implementation of business process and technology for commercial and non-profit clients. His primary areas of concentration include: program management, business process improvement, requirements analysis, finance and accounting processes and controls, and technology strategy.

With more than 18 years as a senior leader in business consulting, audit and accounting management, Mr. Jones brings experience across many diverse industries, including transportation, healthcare, state and local government, professional services, manufacturing and waste management.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Jones was a senior manager with Deloitte Consulting LLP, where he was a senior leader in the Texas IT and Finance Transformation practices. Previous to his 10 years at Deloitte, Mr. Jones spent three years as a manager with a publicly traded waste management firm, where he led numerous projects to improve technology and finance operations. Earlier, he spent two years in the internal audit function of a Fortune 500 manufacturing firm.  Mr. Jones began his career as an auditor with KPMG.

Mr. Jones earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from The University of New Mexico. He is active in the community and currently serves as Treasurer and a member of the board of directors for The Houston Choral Society.
