Glen Kanevsky
Mr. Kanevsky is regularly engaged by boards, executive management, lenders, and investors to deliver quantifiable, commercial, and value-driven outcomes in highly complex situations, sometimes featuring distressed organizations. Where the situation requires it, Mr. Kanevsky implements solutions using insolvency processes. He has proven expertise in leading large, highly diverse organizations and teams and has worked with clients across a broad range of sectors, including financial services, construction, automotive, mining, health, transport, retail, manufacturing, and aged care.
Mr. Kanevsky has led advisory engagements spanning: immediate cash and working capital crises; operational performance reviews, including large-scale rapid cost reductions; development and execution of performance improvement, restructuring, and turnaround plans; independent business reviews; managed exits; and value generation from distressed assets and businesses. Mr. Kanevsky has been appointed to various roles in external administration, including insolvency appointments leading to the successful restructuring of companies such as S&W Seed Company, Clough Group, Axsesstoday, Oroton, Koko Black, and Tamar Valley Dairy Company.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kanevsky spent 20 years with Deloitte, including 13 years as a Partner.
Mr. Kanevsky earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Curtin University, Perth and an MBA from the University of Western Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Registered Liquidator, and a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association, INSOL, and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
