Gillian Tilbury

With more than 30 years of experience, Ms. Tilbury has worked extensively within the upstream oil and gas industry, from large integrated majors to small independents. She has served as the project lead on engagements to develop solutions in organizational design, performance management, operational effectiveness and assurance, process safety, strategy, process optimization and mergers and acquisitions integration.
Additionally, Ms. Tilbury has worked with several oil field service company clients. These engagements have leveraged her core strengths in leadership, change management and ability to help teams develop solutions that are implementable within each client’s unique culture.
Ms. Tilbury’s recent notable engagements include validating the growth strategy, modifying the organizational design and assessing cultural strengths and challenges for a U.S. independent recently emerging from a restructuring; developing an optimal operating model for the consolidation of several private equity owned portfolio companies; and managing the transformation of a West African business unit’s operating model to improve efficiency and effectiveness of its production operations and asset development activities.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Tilbury spent 15 years with The Carnrite Group in Houston, where she served as Managing Director. There, she was accountable for delivery, results and client satisfaction of varied consulting projects. Ms. Tilbury started her career in the Energy industry with Conoco, where she held various positions in midstream and corporate planning.
Ms. Tilbury earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Texas – Austin and an MBA from the University of Houston. She is a Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Scrum Product Owner and is Prosci certified in change management.
