Giacomo Giobbi

Mr. Giobbi has worked on more than 150 transactions across jurisdictions such as Italy, the U.K., and the U.S. He has worked with clients in various industries, including industrial, manufacturing, consumer goods, life sciences, infrastructure, and technology, media, and telecommunications.
Mr. Giobbi’s notable engagements include transactions for local and international players such as Blackstone (including De Nora), Platinum Equity (including Farnese Vini, Polli, and Project Circular), KKR (including Enilive and Marelli), Aurelius (including Dayco Propulsion Solutions and Project Icon), and OVS (including JB Brands, Project P14, and Project Birth).
Mr. Giobbi has served other private equity investors such as EMK Capital, Rivean Capital, Hitec Vision, Andera Partners, Charme Capital Partners, Fondo Italiano, and Clessidra Group, as well as infrastructure investors including Swiss Life Asset Managers, Iter Investments, Equiter S.p.A., DWS Asset Management, and J.P. Morgan. Mr. Giobbi has also assisted large strategic buyers such as Luxottica, Marcegaglia, Manni Group, and Inwit.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Giobbi spent more than 16 years with Deloitte’s Transaction Services department in Milan, most notably serving as Partner. While there, he was seconded to Deloitte’s London Corporate Finance office for two years. Prior to focusing on financial due diligence, Mr. Giobbi provided recurring financial statement independent audit services to private and public audit clients at Deloitte for three years.
Mr. Giobbi earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Università Luigi Bocconi in Milan. An Italian national, he is fluent in English and in German.
