He specializes in economic loss quantification, financial analysis and forensic accounting. His primary areas of concentration include lost profit damage calculations, business interruption claims and other types of damages assessments.
With more than 12 years of litigation support experience, Mr. Yee has assisted clients and their counsel across various industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, aviation, gaming, distribution and professional services industries. Throughout his career, Mr. Yee has developed in-depth knowledge of various businesses, and has designed as well as developed complex financial damages models in assessing economic losses.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Yee spent approximately ten years with KPMG’s, forensic department in Calgary, where he most recently served as Senior Manager and Vice President. Mr. Yee conducted financial investigations, quantified economic losses and provided other litigation support services. In addition, Mr. Yee possesses a broad range of experience encompassing over a decade of experience in due diligence, financial reporting and auditing.
Mr. Yee earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in accounting, from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator. He is a member of Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta, Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.
