Felix Berner

Drawing on more than 10 years of experience in strategic tech advisory, Mr. Berner advises clients on their IT M&A and technology transformation journeys. He has worked with clients across all industries, with a focus on high tech, manufacturing, automotive, software, and energy.
Notably at A&M, Mr. Berner has been involved in projects with private equity portfolio companies as well as industry clients, providing due diligence support on IT and technology, defining IT target operating models for divested companies, optimizing post-deal IT operating models for the sell-side, developing IT carve-out blueprints, and assisting with separation planning, cost benchmarking, and IT value creation assessments and planning.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Berner advised clients for Accenture Technology Strategy, Deloitte, and EY Parthenon, where he most recently served as a Director. He led multiple large-scale IT carve-outs, IT post-merger integrations, and due diligences for global corporates and private equity companies, and delivered IT transformation, value creation, and cost-out projects for a range of industry and private equity clients.
Before his career in consulting, Mr. Berner served as Head of Material Manufacturing at Fraunhofer HHI, overseeing R&D and prototype manufacturing for optical III/V semiconductor materials and a semiconductor production line for photonic devices.
Mr. Berner earned a master’s equivalent degree in physics (German: Diplom) from Humboldt University Berlin. A German national, Mr. Berner is fluent in German and English.
