Etienne Michelin
Mr. Michelin has worked with banks and nonbank financial institutions to enhance capital efficiency, liquidity risk management, stress testing, and resolution planning. He has also performed several private equity- and corporate-driven regulatory due diligences on banks and on investments firms. His clients have included global systemically important banks, large regional and domestic banks, specialist banks, payments firms, financial market infrastructures, fintech companies, crypto firms, and regulators.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Michelin was a Partner at EY, where he led the UK prudential risk team. In this role, Mr. Michelin advised clients at the board and executive committee level on strengthening financial resilience across capital and liquidity, transforming entity structures and operating models, securing new regulatory authorizations, enhancing crisis readiness and resolvability, and improving governance and risk frameworks. He also led several complex Section 166 engagements with firms regulated by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and performed independent reviews on behalf of boards and risk functions.
Mr. Michelin earned a master’s degree in economics from University College London and a master’s degree in business and finance from ESSEC Business School, France.
