With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Takaki has done extensive work leading complex due diligence engagements in Brazil and South America.

Mr. Takaki’s notable assignments include transactions with relevant renewable businesses in Brazil for international private equity firms and pension funds, the acquisition of electricity and oil and gas assets within a privatization context by corporate clients, and the joint venture of an important meal and food benefits business.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Takaki spent 18 years with the Deal Advisory & Strategy group of KPMG in Brazil, serving most recently as Director. He was also a member of KPMG’s Deal Advisory – Infrastructure & ENR group, Global Japan Desk Practice and has worked for KPMG Canada where he participated in transactions in Canada, Brazil, the U.S. and the U.K.

Mr. Takaki earned a BBA from Escola de Administracao Maua – EAM/IMT. He is registered with the Regional Council of Administration of the State of São Paulo (CRA-SP). A native Portuguese speaker, Mr. Takaki is fluent in English.
