Drew Leavitt is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Miami. With more than 15 years of experience, he specializes in leading pre- and post-acquisition M&A engagements, including synergy and stand-alone cost identification; integration/carve-out planning and execution; and post-acquisition value creation.

At A&M, Mr. Leavitt’s notable assignments include leading a sizable A&M team supporting the Integration Management Office for the merger of two leading consumer data analytics firms with over $2 billion in combined revenue. He partnered with key executives to establish the IMO structure and processes; develop functional integration plans; and drive the execution cadence for the capture of $100+ million in synergies.

Additionally, Mr. Leavitt served as the A&M IMO lead for the merger of three healthcare revenue cycle management services firms with a combined revenue of $150 million, where he provided integration planning and execution guidance to C-suite executives; facilitated integration planning workshops; and drove the weekly integration execution and synergy capture cadence post Day 1.

Mr. Leavitt also served as the IMO co-lead for the merger of two air ambulance providers with a combined revenue of $80+ million, partnering with key functional executives to validate synergies; develop and execute an integration plan across all business functions; and institute a tracking and reporting framework that provided real-time insight into the status of key activities.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Leavitt served for a year as a Vice President of Transformation at Platinum Equity in one of their portfolio companies, where he partnered with executives to drive post-acquisition transformation activities. Previously, he served for three years as a management consultant for Capgemini and four years in management at UPS.

Mr. Leavitt earned a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management from the University of Maryland.
