Dirk Naujokat is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Corporate Transformation Services in Munich. He specializes in solving complex commercial and operational company situations. With 30 years of experience in advisory, interim roles and senior leadership in industry, Mr. Naujokat is a go-to person for companies in disruptive and complex situations that need leadership, robust implementation plans and a fast, result-driven execution.

Mr. Naujokat has operated in more than 18 countries across North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He has worked with clients in various industries, including automotive, manufacturing and engineering, engine producers, automation technology, medical devices and railway operators, where he recently led a transformation and turnaround as interim COO.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Naujokat served as Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain Management at Festo AG, a world-leading German supplier of automation technology. He solved a delivery crisis and achieved double digit inventory reductions. Previously, Mr. Naujokat was Vice President of Global Operations at BENTELER Automotive. He was responsible for manufacturing engineering, manufacturing strategy, and leading the global manufacturing footprint of 60+ production plants and 20,000+ employees.

Mr. Naujokat also worked for 10 years as interim manager and management consultant and was a partner in leading consultancy firms. As interim CEO, he drove a post-merger integration, built a plant in China, led the corporate SCM function (including purchasing of a volume of €4 billion), was head of R&D and led profit improvement and transformation programs. Prior to that, Mr. Naujokat served as Group Director Logistics and Plant Planning at WEBASTO, a world leading automotive supplier.

Mr. Naujokat earned a master’s degree in mathematics and finance from the University of Ulm in Germany. He is member of the advisory board of the German GfPM (Gesellschaft für Produktionsmanagement eV). Mr. Naujokat is fluent in German and English.
