Dimitri Kordonis
Mr. Kordonis has more than 15 years of experience in electricity market strategy, resource planning, and asset performance. His primary areas of concentration include power market analytics, commercial and regulatory due diligence, and generation and transmission planning. Mr. Kordonis advises utilities, developers, investors, and large energy users across North America and around the world.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kordonis held senior roles in power market and infrastructure advisory, where he led projects on power market fundamentals, resource adequacy, and generation asset valuation. His notable assignments included: leading the integrated resource plan for American Electric Power’s Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) to support a multibillion-dollar investment in new generation resources; advising a major data center developer on grid access and market expansion; completing commercial due diligence for Alpha Generation’s power infrastructure platform during a $500 million investment from the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA); and analyzing a US utility transaction involving generation and retail portfolios. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kordonis worked at ISO New England, where he contributed to system planning and market design initiatives that enhanced grid reliability and supported regional transmission development.
Mr. Kordonis earned a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Rutgers University–New Brunswick and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
