He brings over 17 years of experience with advising corporate boards, management teams and private equity investors on performance improvement and M&A-triggered transformation programs. Mr. Sarda has led and supported 70+ M&A transactions across the deal cycle and has worked in Europe, the US, India and Africa.
Most recently at A&M, Mr. Sarda has been working in an interim role as the EMEA Chief Integration Officer for a Fortune 20 Healthcare and Medical Devices business. In this role, he is currently responsible for the planning and execution of a number of transformation programs including the integration of a $6BN global acquisition in the EMEA region. Reporting to the Global CFO, Mr. Sarda is leading the change leadership and management of these initiatives to ensure value creation targets are achieved.
Previously, Mr. Sarda led the post-merger integration (PMI) planning for a French foodservice distribution acquisition by a global retailer. Mr. Sarda designed the overall PMI program, and directed integration teams responsible for creating 'Day 1 Readiness' and 'Value Creation' plans. He also designed a PMI playbook for future acquisitions.
Prior to this role, Mr. Sarda led the development of a 12-18 month transformation plan for the aerospace division of a global supply chain and logistics business. Working with the management team, Mr. Sarda brought an activist investor perspective to the business to develop and implement a short-term profit recovery plan that resulted in a higher exit multiple for the ParentCo.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Sarda was a Managing Director at Accenture where he led the Corporate Strategy/M&A practice in the UK and Ireland. He was promoted to this position at the age of 32 and held leadership roles in the Global M&A practice and Accenture Strategy in the UK. Prior to this, Mr. Sarda worked in M&A advisory at ABN Amro and strategy consulting at PwC.
Mr. Sarda earned an MBA from Cambridge University and a bachelor's degree in Management from King's College London. Earlier in his career, he qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant. He is a British national.
