Dennis Bocuzzi

Over the past 15 years, his primary area of focus has related to the implementation and operationalization of control and monitoring, risk management, CapEx and schedule analysis, coordination of field teams, contract management, analysis of claims, and technical due diligences.
Mr. Bocuzzi has worked on various major projects with more than 30,000 employees mobilized and CapEx of up to $7 billion in the energy sector across the U.S. and South America, specifically in the generation, transmission, and distribution segments.
Mr. Bocuzzi has led teams during the deployment of hydroelectric power plants, solar parks, and wind farms at various stages of the respective projects, including feasibility, governance, and construction, among others. Notably, Mr. Bocuzzi served as interim CFO responsible for the construction of a transmission line and substations, leading the management of cash flow, risk, CapEx, and foreign exchange hedge operations. He has worked in Austria as a Contract & Claims Manager for a €350 million CapEx venture, as well as in Colombia, supporting the main contractor for the infrastructure adaptation of an energy company, with an estimated CapEx of $100 million.
In addition, Mr. Bocuzzi has conducted several technical due diligences on generation and transmission assets for the buy side, quantifying their red flags and proposing recommendations regarding the sales purchase agreement or offer price. He has also implemented project governance for various clients entering the renewables sector.
Mr. Bocuzzi earned a bachelor’s degree in materials engineering from the University of Sao Paulo and an MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas. He is also a certified Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.
