Ms. Vance has advised clients on the state and local income and non-income tax aspects of acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations. She has worked with clients and evaluated targets across a range of industries, including software, manufacturing, consumer products, healthcare, and real estate management.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Vance worked at Big Four accounting firms in New York and Boston, serving most notably as a Senior Manager. During this time, she provided buy- and sell-side transaction tax advisory services to private equity and corporate clients, evaluating state and local income and non-income tax exposure and leading post-closing remediation efforts, including voluntary disclosure agreements.
Previously, Ms. Vance served as an attorney with a large international law firm in New York, primarily handling tax controversy related to both income and non-income taxes.
Ms. Vance earned a bachelor’s degree in economics (with honors) from Western Connecticut State University and a JD (with honors) from Emory University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Massachusetts and New York.
