David Chennisi

Mr. Chennisi’s expertise includes payer strategy, technology, business operations, business planning, process improvement, complex claims system implementations and analytics/decision support solutions.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Chennisi spent nearly 10 years with Optum, where he led the Payer Technology Service Practice for Optum Advisory Services. He developed and delivered best-in-class solutions to drive measurable performance across the health plan ecosystem through the application of technology to support business operations.
Previously, Mr. Chennisi served as Chief Information Officer for Texas Children's Health Plan (as subsidiary of Texas Children's Hospital), where he was responsible for all technology used by their Medicaid health plan. He also worked at First Consulting Group and Accenture, focusing on healthcare information technology.
Mr. Chennisi earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Rice University. He also earned a graduate certificate in health care management from Rice University Graduate School of Business.
