With more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Simion has worked across a range of industries, including retail, consumer packaged goods, high-tech, media, telcos, hospitality and energy in data and analytics, artificial intelligence/machine learning and data science. He has built and led global teams at scale, focused on advanced analytics and AI consulting business, including digital transformation across all functional areas.
Mr. Simion’s teams led data science and analytics efforts at companies, including Target, CVS, Walgreens, Office Depot, Gap, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Disney, Warner Brothers, Facebook/Meta, Google, Cisco, Cox Communications, AT&T, Verizon, Rogers, Royal Caribbean, Virgin Voyages, Chevron Phillips Chemicals, Exxon Mobile, Honeywell, Novartis, American Express, Morgan Stanley and USPS.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Simion served as Vice President of Capgemini’s Insights & Data Global Business line. He also led their Artificial Intelligence & Analytics practice as well as their Artificial Intelligence center of excellence in North America. Before that, Mr. Simion served as a Managing Director with Accenture Interactive and Accenture Applied Intelligence, leading the Data Science practice in North America. Additionally, he served in previous roles at Information Resources Inc.
Mr. Simion earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Bucharest in Romania and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
