Dafydd Williams

Mr. Williams brings 10 years of experience in U.K. and international corporate tax, and has worked with clients ranging from privately-owned companies to listed groups, private equity houses and multinational corporations. He has served in various industry sectors, including energy, financial services, pharmaceuticals, retail, technology and real estate.
Mr. Williams brings extensive experience in advising on tax matters related to U.K. and international corporate acquisitions and disposals, acting for both corporations and private equity houses. He also has experience in management buy-outs and providing post-transaction tax advice to private equity-backed businesses.
He has advised U.K. groups on corporate tax compliance and planning matters, with a particular focus on the tax implications of group reorganizations and financing structures.
Prior to joining A&M, he worked in the corporate cax team at Deloitte LLP in Cardiff, where he specialized in corporate transactions and financing structures. He previously worked with the corporate tax team at Smith & Williamson Ltd. and the mergers and acquisitions tax team of Deloitte LLP. At Deloitte, he was also worked with the tax department of a FTSE 100 group.
Mr. Williams earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and law from the University of Southampton, England. A U.K. national, he is a qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW).
