Mr. Forrest is an infrastructure professional with a proven track record of leading diverse teams, developing strategy, implementing change, and delivering high-quality outcomes. He brings extensive expertise in the built environment, both in the delivery of major projects and advising investors to maximize value.

With over 30 years of infrastructure experience, Mr. Forrest has led award-winning global advisory teams and advised on over $300 billion of investments to reach financial close. He combines a detailed knowledge of business drivers with the capability of a transformational leader who has operated at the highest level of the industry. His drive for operational excellence enables him to take a holistic approach to organizational design to maximize business potential. 

Mr. Forrest has worked on infrastructure projects across sectors including: nuclear; renewables; rail; airports; ports; technology, media, and telecommunications; energy, transition, and hydrogen; and utilities and water. His credentials include: advising the U.K. Government on delivering the Sizewell C power station; supporting Global Infrastructure Partners on its acquisition of Equis Energy; developing the business case for VIA Rail Canada’s higher frequency rail link between Toronto and Montreal; supporting the due diligence for the acquisition of Edinburgh Airport by VINCI Airports; advising on decarbonization and ESG strategy for Berlin’s district energy network; and supporting National Grid Group’s sale of Cadent. 

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Forrest served in various roles at Arup, including Global Business & Investors Advisory Leader, CEO of Arup Corporate Finance, and Group Leader of Arup Canada. Previously, he worked as General Manager for Rolls-Royce U.K. Thermal Fleet. 

Mr. Forrest earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Strathclyde. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA), and Chartered Professional Accountant, Ontario (CPA). In 2024, he was awarded a lifetime achievement award by IJGlobal in recognition of his contribution to infrastructure investment.
