Ms. Williams specializes in leading financial due diligence projects for private equity firms and strategic buyers, including buy-side and sell-side services, as well as closing and post-transaction support.

With over 12 years of business experience, Ms. Williams assists clients through each phase of the investment life cycle. Her areas of focus include quality of earnings and net assets, working capital requirements, off-balance sheet exposures, cash-flow projections, key business drivers, and the accounting and finance function. Through this work, Ms. Williams helps clients maximize value both when evaluating acquisitions and when preparing for a sale. She also assists with sale and purchase agreements and purchase price adjustment mechanisms.

Ms. Williams has experience across a wide range of industries, including waste and environmental services (75+ transactions), other route-based services (50+ transactions including residential services, food distribution, and commercial janitorial services), consumer products, business services, manufacturing, and construction. In these engagements, Ms. Williams has led diligence for platform investments, add-on acquisitions, carve-outs, minority investments, continuation vehicles, and divestitures, advising her clients through each stage of the transaction life cycle by leveraging her extensive deal experience and industry-specific knowledge.

Before joining A&M, Ms. Williams worked at EY in the transaction advisory services group in Dallas, where she specialized in financial due diligence projects for private equity firms and strategic buyers. Earlier in her career, she was in the Assurance practice of EY, providing external audit services for a Fortune 500 public client with global manufacturing operations and private clients in the manufacturing and commercial services industries.

Ms. Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
