Christopher Smedley

Mr. Smedley specializes in physician enterprise solutions, having served as a trusted advisor to children’s hospitals, cancer centers, and academic and national health systems. He brings specialized expertise in practice operations, patient access, financial management, performance improvement, and organizational models.
Mr. Smedley’s industry experience also includes serving in leadership roles at UPMC Cancer Centers as well as at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Smedley served as Chief Operating and Strategy Officer at GW Medicine, where he led the transformation and turnaround activities of a large, multi-specialty academic faculty practice.
Mr. Smedley earned a bachelor’s degree in health management systems from Duquesne University and a master’s in public management (with a concentration in healthcare) from Carnegie Mellon University.
