Christopher Miller

With more than twelve years of disputes and forensic accounting experience, Mr. Miller has consulted in over a hundred litigation cases, reviewed hundreds of commercial insurance claims, consulted in numerous merger and acquisition (M&A) disputes, and participated in large-scale investigations. His disputes experience encompasses a broad range of class action lawsuits, first-party property damage and third-party liability insurance claims, intellectual property cases, lost profits and income cases, M&A purchase price disputes, product liability claims, royalty audits, and statistical data analyses.
Mr. Miller’s notable assignments include over a dozen multi-million dollar tuition and fee class action lawsuits due to Covid-19, a $13 billion nationwide GMO corn class action lawsuit, a $96 million damages claim related to a hospital in bankruptcy court, a $76 million patent and copyright infringement damages claim related to an agribusiness’ crop-protection chemicals, and a $40 million product recall related to a meatpacker.
Mr. Miller has worked with clients across various industries, including agricultural, aerospace/defense, commercial and residential rentals, food and beverage, healthcare, higher education, homebuilding, hotels and hospitality, insurance, light to heavy manufacturing, natural gas, outdoor advertising, pig farming, retail, steel manufacturing and professional services.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Miller spent more than five years with the Investigative Accounting Group of Meaden & Moore in Chicago, serving most recently as a Manager. His notable engagements there include a binding arbitration regarding an $80 million business interruption and property damage claim relating to a grain processing facility.
Mr. Miller earned bachelor’s and master's degrees in accounting (finance minor) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
