Christina Steiner

With more than 14 years of healthcare industry compliance and operational experience, Ms. Steiner has worked at start-ups and private equity backed companies in various growth stages. Most recently, she worked with a Fortune 500 payor on a strategy to improve its quality scores performance and then worked to deploy the strategy.
Previously, Ms. Steiner completed multiple phases of work for a large regional health plan, including a competitive benefits assessment; compliance subject matter expertise focused on regulatory and benefit design components; and overall operational improvements and future product strategic improvement/growth opportunities in network, benefits/product design, utilization management, and pharmacy.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Steiner served as the Deputy General Counsel and Privacy Officer for Haven Healthcare, the Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, & JPMorgan Chase healthcare venture. She was responsible for working with payors and PBMs in the data acquisition process, as well as ensuring compliant privacy practices across the entity.
Previously, Ms. Steiner was VP of Strategic Risk for a private equity backed hospital, HOPD and freestanding ED company. She also played a large operational and risk management role for the physician staffing entity. Prior to that, Ms. Steiner served as General Counsel for a start-up health insurance company, helping to build the company from the ground up, including building out business rules and processes with the TPA, helping to operationalize an outsourced call center, building out the human resources and hiring function, working with the sales department to create producer agreements and P&Ps, and creating a legal/compliance/privacy department.
Ms. Steiner earned a BBA from Seton Hall University and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. A licensed attorney in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, Ms. Steiner sits on the board of the Connecticut chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the HFMA National Advisory Council.
