Mr. Hogg brings 13 years of restructuring experience and specialises in advising lenders and borrowers in stressed and distressed situations. He focuses on complex transactions in both listed and privately owned businesses.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hogg spent 9 years in the financial restructuring team at FTI Consulting, and before that worked at PWC in restructuring. Mr. Hogg has completed an 18 month secondment at a major international clearing bank.
Mr. Hogg has provided advisory services to lenders, investors and boards, across a wide range of sectors and jurisdictions. His recent sector experience includes: wholesale/distribution, food processing, business support services, oil and gas and financial services, in the UK, Greece, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway and South Africa.
Mr. Hogg's experience includes complex restructuring assignments, which have often included operational and financial reviews, stakeholder options analysis, delivering stabilisation and crisis management plans, financial restructuring advice and multi-tiered stakeholder management.
Mr. Hogg has recently advised the senior lenders to a UK distribution business regarding their restructuring options. He has also supported lenders to a U.K. listed oil and gas exploration and production company on the options for a financial restructuring of their debt that resulted in the sale of the Group and he has advised on the restructuring and sale of an international food processing business. Mr. Hogg provided a full business review and restructuring support to a lender to a stressed PE-backed global arts and crafts manufacturer and has advised the board of a Dutch manufacturing business regarding their turnaround plan.
Mr. Hogg is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has a B.A. with honours in Modern History & Economics from Manchester University.
