With 18+ years of professional experience, Ms. Light has led transformation initiatives across regions, guiding clients to reimagine tax as a value-adding function rather than a cost center. She is recognized for her ability to identify client pain points, align business strategy with tax technology and processes, and design future-ready operating models that anticipate regulatory trends.

Ms. Light’s notable assignments include serving as part of the global development team for a Big Four firm’s tax compliance platform, focusing on data management and alignment in connectivity, requirements, and value proposition across multiple regions. She has conducted detailed data reviews across corporate, indirect tax, and transfer pricing processes, delivering insights, mitigating risks, and creating opportunities for efficiency and transparency. Her client portfolio spans industries such as financial services, technology, consumer, and industrial markets, with a strong focus on global headquarters and regional hubs in Asia.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Light spent more than a decade with a Big Four firm in South Africa and Singapore, most recently as partner in the Tax Technology and Transformation practice. She spearheaded the launch of a global priority initiative for the Singapore practice, introducing innovative solutions to multinational clients. She also served as a core member of the firm’s Global Data Management Network and the Data Analytics Steering Committee, shaping global tax technology strategy.

Ms. Light began her career with a Big Four firm in South Africa, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and developed expertise in tax reporting and compliance solutions. During this time, she developed indirect tax data models and aligned IT and tax strategies to reduce long-term costs while maximizing returns.

Ms. Light earned a bachelor’s degree (honors) in accounting sciences and a master’s degree in taxation, both from the University of Pretoria. She is an experienced presenter at global and local conferences, webinars, and client forums.
