Carrie Kingston is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax in San Francisco.

Ms. Kingston brings over 15 years of experience in advising clients on tax matters related to federal and state research and development tax incentives. She has worked on tax reviews ranging from sophisticated multi-year claims to more isolated consulting projects and audit defense. She has also assisted with several IRC Section 199 domestic production activity studies.

Ms. Kingston has advised numerous Fortune 500 clients across a variety of industries, including aerospace and defense, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, food products, manufacturing and software.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Kingston was a Senior Associate with the Research Credit Services team of KPMG.

Ms. Kingston earned a bachelor's degree in accountancy and computer information systems from James Madison University in Virginia. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
