Carlos Mendes

Mr. Mendes has worked in the U.S. and Latin America with clients across a range of industries, including consumer products, manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, financial services and infrastructure.
Mr. Mendes’ notable assignments include working with J&J, ABI/Ambev, Philips, Votorantim, Grupo Abertis, Goodyear, Walmart, GPA, NII/Nextel, Sompo, Carrefour, Louis Dreyfus, Saint Gobain, Brinks and LATAM. Most recently at A&M, he led a successful launch of a new business unit within Corporate Transformation division in Brazil, focused on CFO services and governance with relevant and proven results to large companies. He also led the full cycle of market analysis, go-to-market strategy, prospection, portfolio design, negotiation, deal close and expansion in relevant organizations.
Previously, Mr. Mendes was the head of all pricing and profitability management initiatives at one of the Big Four consulting companies, where he acted as the direct line of contact with the Global Pricing Center of Excellence headquarters in Atlanta and Chicago. Additionally, he oversaw all customization and development of local approach, methodology, sales speech, good practices, researches, diagnostics, engagements, tools and pricing solutions for the local market.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Mendes served as Senior Director in the business consulting arm of NTT Data/Everis Brazil, where he acted as head of all business consulting services and clients. He was also a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting – Customer & Market Strategy.
Mr. Mendes earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from FAAP and an MBA in finance from Insper. He is fluent Portuguese and English and has advanced working knowledge of Spanish.
